PROJECTS
Examples of work
STUDENT LIFE (TEG)
This is an example of one of many articles written for a series on Student Life for The University Group London.
TEG connects London-based universities and international students. This is an example of a practical, plain-English guide with researched links to useful resources.
TUPPERWARE TOP TRUMPS
A conceptual piece of copy, this card game takes an inventory of a collection of food containers and personifies them. Each is named, given a back-story and scored out of 100 in categories like Durability, User-Experience and Seal. Small Orange: 'Years of microwaving have warped the body of Small Orange. It remains in the cupboard, at the back, unwanted, untouched'. Surreal and humorous.
STUDIO SOCIETY
This London-based gym group hosts fully-immersive, sensorial classes that keep its members going until the very last second. I worked closely with the gym to produce much of the blog content for their website, like drafting out instructional HIIT workouts to do at home or FAQs about the benefits of EMS training.
CONVERT DIGITAL
For this Brighton-based digital agency, I wrote explanatory guides and FAQs on topics like SEO, link-building and SEO penalty recovery for their own website.
SKYLINE SKYDIVING
As well as this example, much of the content on Skyline's website needs to say more or less the same thing again and again, which can cause problems when it comes to SEO. For example, there's a page for each location they offer skydives. I redrafted over 30 pages of their website to omit any duplicate content while ensuring they all said everything they needed to.
REFERENCING GUIDES (TEG)
An example of turning complicated and technical information into plain-English for international students, this is one of many referencing guides written to support TEGs own referencing generators.
